CA Proposition 65

You may have seen a “P65” warning sticker on select NSA products. This is driven by a California law referred to as Proposition 65, and officially known as the Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act of 1986. California’s Office of Environmental Health Hazard Assessment (OEHHA) publishes and maintains a list of over 800 chemicals that the State of California has deemed to require a warning. If a product may contain any of those listed chemicals, then an on-product warning is required.

Note: This requirement is only specific to items sold in California. Since National Safety Apparel sells through distribution, we are uncertain of the final shipping location. Therefore you may see a label on an NSA product even if you do not live in California. More information can be found here: https://www.p65warnings.ca.gov/
