READ THE GARMENT LABEL AND LAUNDER PER INSTRUCTIONS ON GARMENT LABEL.
DO NOT use chlorine bleach or detergents containing bleach. DO NOT use fabric softeners. DO NOT iron. DO NOT dry clean.
Wash/Laundering Instructions: Machine wash warm. Tumble dry low.
Wash according to the instructions above to remove any contaminants in order to maintain fabric performance when garment becomes soiled with dirt, greases, oils, etc.
If contaminants cannot be removed after laundering, it is best to discontinue use of garment.

The blend of modacrylic fibers make the balaclava inherently flame resistant. This means that it gives you FR head protection that will not wash out, keeping you safe and compliant with NFPA 70E requirements for arc flash and ASTM F1506 for arc flash.

Moisture Wicking:

You can worry about the task at hand while the proactive moisture wicking technology reduces perspiration up to 34% away from your head and face once you begin perspiring. It will absorb the moisture from your head and force it to the exterior of the balaclava.

The FR balaclava provides you with arc rated head protection of 4 cal/cm2 and meets standards for CSA Z462 for Arc Flash, NFPA 70E for Arc Flash, OSHA 1910.269 and ASTM F1506 for Arc Flash. It helps keep you comfortable, cool or warm, safe and compliant.
